We submitted one of our first video tours to the Kodak Video Challenge here on Active Rain and the positive response was amazing! People really love video home tours. We thought we had a good chance of winning, and ended up in the group for 3rd place.

24 Washington Court was the video we submitted to the contest. We thought we did a great job and it did turn out very nice but we didn't settle for OK.

After some more practice we feel that our skills are continueing to grow and develop. We are producing them faster, and with better quality. Here is one of the latest videos we have done.

** Something that is special about this video is that the home owner is a musician and donated the background music for the video!!! How awesome is that?!? **

Your videos are really coming into their own as well. What equipment do you use? It feels like a wider lense for shooting? What do you use to edit?

Pamala - Thank you, we are continually getting better and we can't wait to see where they will go in the future! We have a lot of equipent we would like to get to make them even better. If we can make a 200,000 dollar home look good, it will be interesting to see a million dollar home :-)

Craig - Thank you very much and I know it! I remember reading that 2% of REALTORS use video as part of their marketing package and 70% of Sellers said they would list with an agent who offered with video. Wish I could remember the source.

Lyn - there are many logistical reasons why that is. Also many times over it is stated not to talk about the obvious. People can see that in the video and if it is to fast re-watch it or pause it. Thanks for commenting!
