One of the projects I have been working on this week is a lovely home in Summerville, SC.  It has been on the market for 1 1/2 yrs!  The agents husband is the builder and well.... they are a little frustrated in the current market.  They contacted me last week to see if I could help.  We staged it this week & next week they begin a hard marketing campaign.... Their push will not be for open houses to see the home, but to see the staging.

You see, while agents have been learning a lot about staging from my monthly newsletters, many of them haven't seen the homes in person.  Needless to say I think this is a GREAT IDEA!  Get agents in to see the staging & viola, they will see the home too!

It is truly a win win situations. I do promote my clients' listings and at the same time I promote my services as well.

Cheers,

Melissa:Beautiful work, as always! :)  I think promoting the listing by getting the agents in to see the staging is a fantastic idea! Seeing is believing! Everyone benefits.   Keep us updated on this...I'd love to hear how it turns out!

Melissa - Great job.  I too love to invite agents to an Open House.  It is much easier for them to show  & hopefully sell a staged home!  Best of luck to you and your client.

Great idea to get agents back through a house.  Hopefully it will benefit the sellers as well as you.

Super details, with lovely touches.  I confess to being impressed by the person who was able the vaccuum the carpet into those patterns though - made it look like a very high end piece! <gr>

Sure it will get you lots more business.  Love the kitchen table and chair.  Love all of it. Great.

WONDERFUL job!!  It's a beautiful home.  I think staging empty homes is the best thing a seller can do. I have investors that flip houses and the staged ones always sell faster than the empty ones! Staging works!

Great job Melissa!  I love seeing the results of your efforts.  I am in the process of creating a RES show.  I'm getting there!  One foot in front of the other as the old song goes!
