Hank, do I qualify for a Short Sale? This is a question that more and more people are asking?

Lake County Short Sale Info

As a Real Estate Broker specializing in Lake County Short Sales...I am often asked this question. So, let me give you the short answer by asking you the qualifying questions:

•1. Do you have a verifiable hardship, like unemployment, medical bills, or relocation?

•2. Do you have a monthly income shortfall? (Increased expenses and/or decreased income)

•3. Is your home worth less than your current mortgage and you are unable to pay your mortgage? (or soon will be)

If you can answer yes to all of the above questions you should definitely evaluate a Short Sale, as you are presumptively eligible for Short Sale consideration. You should contact me or one of my Lake County Short Sale Team Members. We can assist you in analyzing your specific circumstances and organizing your information to present to your lender.

If you can't answer yes to all of the above questions...there may be circumstances in which you could qualify for a Short Sale utilizing other criteria/guidelines. The Lake County Short Sale Team can assist you in evaluating the many options that are available as you move through the decision making process.

We encourage all of our clients to consult with their attorney and their accountant. If you need the names of attorneys or accountants with whom to consult...we can provide you with that information as well. A Lake County Short Sale requires a team of professionals working for you give us a call at 707-520-4265 and let us help you get control of your financial future.

My goodness!  If the home in that photo were listed as "on the lake", one might think that was an understatement!
