An old friend of mine is in the entertainment business. He owns a company, Ice Speedway, currently based in Myrtle Beach S.C. His company produces the Motorcycles on Ice shows that travel the country during the racing season. The event was here in Kent at ShowareCenter this last December. I have attended several of his events over the years and find them quite entertaining and encourage you to give it a try if you have a chance.
A few years ago during one of his events I purchased one of his long-sleeve ICE t-shirts. I haven't worn it very often but it seems to turn a few heads now and then depending upon where I am. I wondered why until someone clued me in. ICE is the same identifying initials as the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement people use on their clothing. Yikes, no wonder I attracted attention, that could have caused quite an uproar unnecessarily. Now to be on the safe side, I just wear it around the house.
