Today my broker took out a couple who only wanted to work with the employing broker. The couple is being transferred for work and they are moving to the area, guaranteed buyers. They know what they want, where they need to be and the job starts very soon. They had contacted an agent with a prominent agency and was told that the market was "bleak' and they shouldn't bother to move. Ah, what?

In the last couple of weeks I've sold homes to clients who told me no other Realtor would work with them. One client was told by a VERY PROMINENT REALTOR the property they were looking at was to far out of town - approx 10 miles.

Another client told me that an agent she contact acted as if the she was being bothered and the client wasn't spending enough. That client perpetually apologized to me for only buying a house for $$$, well above the county average. Bottom line is that I sold both of these buyers houses.

So if you are a Realtor in the Pueblo area and you are sending potential clients away I'd like to thank you! This year is shaping up to be a good one for me and for Colorado Western Real Estate.

Dear Pueblo Buyer

I have also heard how horrible the market is, but we are closing more deals right now then we have in a while!!! Below average home prices? Aren't they ALL below where they were? Do we now discriminate on the value of the homes we are willing to sell?

My personal opinion is that if you want to buy a home, I will work with you and get you the best deal I possibly can, regardless if it is an $80,000 home or an $80 million home! I sell real estate! End of report!

Some people need to come back down to planet Earth! Good for you! Hope you get more of these clients!!

I try em all. I enjoy what I do and happen to like the money. I still enjoy working with new clients even though there are fewer but then there are fewer agents that come around. I have been redoing one of my sites to make it better. I am only half finsihed so take a look. www.neworleanscondos.net plenty of photos. I am researching a blog also and thinking about ideas for it. Let you know how it goes.

Dena I am with you, good clients are hard to come by, so thank you to all those who can not be bothered to help them.  just like you I will gladly take them.

Great job Dena!  Many people make assumptions that "Buyers are Liars" when they really aren't educated enough on the market to know what they want to buy yet.  They brush them off...and you get them and listen to them and it works...congratulations!

Dena - that's pretty amazing!  I would be thanking them as well!

Well, their loss is your gain.  I hope they continue to shrug off these buyers so that you can serve them better.
