I am all about being organized. Mainly because I think I really suck at it, and I'm only one tool away from conquering ALL!

I don't know about you, but being a virtual assistant sometimes means spending 12-14 hours straight on the computer. My mind can sometimes turn to mush.

Fleeting thoughts interrupt my mind during those hours...things like, my daughter's birthday I have to plan, things to shop for, To DO's and reminders. BUT, rarely can I just stop what I'm doing and go to my Outlook....I have so many emails it takes too long to load:(

So, on my quest to be organized, cute and creative I found Notezilla a desktop version of the standard "sticky notes" that allows me to keep running notes on my computer's empty desktop space. I can customize, title, view or hide, any type of note on my PC. Each note is "skinnable" and fully customizable, and you can even password protect them!

What's really cool, is that if a "blog idea" hits you while you're working, its a great way to jot down those thoughts.

Check out the demo below to really see what all this tool can do. There is a free trial, then I think its $20 or so, and it only takes up about 4 MB of memory..not too shabby!

    ENJOY~

Seems very neat, but being the organizer/ OCD that I am, all of the notes on the screen would make me have a panic attack!  I'll stick to Outlook and the Palm :-)

Courtney~ You're welcome;) Its been great just for my own personal use.

Dionne~ The demo says alot more about what this can do than I shared...lots of cool stuff.

Tamara~ You're too funny;) I know what you mean, but it is nice to close them out when I don't need them anymore. I don't suppose it would help me much either if I were more mobile;)

Dave~ Thanks for stopping by!

thats a great tool, I've been using a widget on my mac that does the same thing for a while now.  But in general I think I'm a fan of the real sticky note.  Once I have so many I can't see my wall anymore I really get motivated to start working on getting some of the things I wrote down accomplished.  Great find though, thanks for sharing.

Laura

Nice post and great info, I use post its and have them all over the place but, I keep them mainly on the wall by my desk, I have gotten away from having them on my personal possessions. I find that keeping a yellow pad has helped me and helps me to organize my thoughts and keeps me on track for the next days events.

Stephen~ I can only imagine how much cool stuff a MAC has;) One of these days!

Gary~ to be honest I still do a little bit of that too, my notebook for the day has to be in front of me to scribble on. But on those days I tend to scribble too much, this one is fun too, LOL!

I had seen something like this a long time ago and loved it. Then I changed computeres and lost the url.  Can you tile it or keep it private if you share a computer.  My home computer is shared and I don't always want my kids to see my thoughts???
