So, for all of you that know me know that I have a 5 month old son that really doesn't like to sleep all too great throughout the night.  I have to say that last night was one of those ridiculous sleep schedules for him (Tyler).  That being said, I got about 3 hours of sleep and woke up on the wrong side of the bed not wanting to visit any of my Realtors or Financial Advisors today!

That attitude soon changed for the better!  I checked my email prior to getting on the road since I don't have a crackberry (oops...I mean blackberry).  In my emails, I received 3 emails from people who have read my blogs on AR and WannaNetwork.com.  Two out of the three are moving forward, and I have to get in touch with the third to see what they want to do.  Ok...so, I was up for about an hour and my day was turning for the better!

I ended up getting on the road at about 10:30 or so, stopped into the office briefly and got a call from one of my financial advisors; they were sitting with a client that wanted to refinance (70% LTV, $400k loan amount, and 32% DTI).  Needless to say, they moved forward and are closing next week.

I stopped by my first Realtor's office after that and unfortunately didn't pick up any deals, but scheduled an open house for this Sunday and booked myself for the upcoming Saturday and Sunday as well for open houses.

The second office I stepped into today was a "cold call" office...I left with a potential deal, and joint marketing ventures with a broker.  I shouldn't have done this, but I went home early to take a nap and network on here and WannaNetwork more.  I figured that I would reward myself.

The general idea of this blog wasn't meant to tell you how great my day went today, but I want to emphasize and share the power of this blogging atmosphere and the forum atmosphere at WannaNetwork.com.  These two opportunities have done wonders for my business development and networking!  I encourage everyone that I see and meet to sign up for both ActiveRain and WannaNetwork!

I hope all of you have some great stories like this!

Andrew, I hope you get some sleep over the weekend! I received two referrals from former clients, it was a really good week for me!

Chris, in a market like this, we all need to be outside the office working.  Thanks for the comment!

Debbie, unfortunately, I don't think sleep is going to happen...my son (Tyler) just woke up this morning all stuffy.  Not good for him or us.  But, that's awesome that you got the referrals!  That means you're doing something right for your clients ;-)  Thank you so much for your comments!

Andrew- I feel for you!  I remember those days...feeling like a zombie!  But glad you were able to still make it a productive day!
