Beauty in the Freezing Temps

Well I made it through the 2 days that were supposed to be the harshest temps while I am here in Omaha Nebraska. This cowboy is used to the mild winters of Texas. If I have to put up with temps this cold- I should be hunting somewhere!!! I took a few minutes to snap a couple of pics and would like to share them with AR.

Cold Sunset

This was from this evening. I found some positives to the harsh colds. Have to love a beautiful Sunset- no matter how cold it is.

Heavy Snow

Here is a pic from the drive in on Sunday. Was snowing pretty heavy at the time.

Freezing Temps

This was yesterday morning's news. That's right -28 WIND CHILL where I am. I almost just went back to bed.

this is my first day of vacation in Dominican Republic. It is 82F, whater is about 80F, beautiful, green, warm, and it is so difficult to imagine that there is a place on earth where it is cold and unpleasant.

Tommy - great photos, but I'm not interested in seeing lower temps than we are having in Texas! I like Jon's idea of going to the Dominican Republic until these cold blasts are over!

It has been cold, that is for sure. We have been seeing some cold weather in the Northeast also. The cold weather doesn't bother me too much, I even went skiing tonight through it!

Bill- Some can just take the cold weather. I saw a woman in a short sleeve t-shirt and no coat walking around town here in Omaha today. I have layers of clothes on and I am still cold.
