31 Comments on The Only Kind of Ice I want to see For the Rest of the Winter
Chris, at least you have a blue sky! We've had a couple of months of mostly gray!
Hi Dora and Vincent - I hope we can all remember how cold this winter was when it gets hot the summer (I know I can!).
Hi Frank and Sharon - Even Florida has been bitten this winter; but like you say, it's still not too bad down there!
Hi Gloria - I just checked the weather, and there is no mention of Snow or Ice for the 10 day forecast (not yet anyway!). Monday is supposed to be 45--now we will have to worry about the melting . . . (But I will take it!)
Hi Jason - I'll take hot and humid anytime!! Iced Tea sounds good!
Hi Patricia - It's been grey here too, but the next 10 days are sounding somewhat sunny. YES!
Chris, I'm with you on this one - writing a blog post tonight would have been a chore after today. Even my hair is tired!
Hi Chris... we have had 2 ice storms here in Dallas in the past couple of weeks. Shave ice sounds much better!
Chris,
I think the globe is spinning out of control and its driving us all crazy! May it console you to know that the snow & ice is finally being equally distributed to other parts of the U.S. Yes! We had another ice storm here in Flower Mound today too! School was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and I don't think it will be open tomorrow either. My furnance is out AGAIN today - for the fifth time in less than 40 days. It's very, very, cold in my house tonight.
I do hope you get a break in the weather. Your back must be killing you from all that shoveling and roof raking. You Northern folks really deserve some good weather. On a positive note, I'll bet you'll discover muscles this summer that you never saw before because of the work out you've been getting all winter long!
I was wondering what the picture was going to be, and you know I now can't wait for summer!
Good one Chris! This gave me a big chuckle.
Now, that is a good type of ice. Love it.
Chris, I couldn't agree with you more! :D
Chris ... The snow pile on my back deck was a good place to keep the beer cold and the wine chilled during the Super Bowl. Rick
Hi Maria - Isn't it great to be exhausted from working with clients (rather than from shoveling snow):
Hi Steve - I think Dallas has had more than its fair share of ice storms this year!
Hi Patricia - Yes it is such a comfort to know that the south is suffering too (not really--I wish we were all having a milder weather). Hope you furnace problems are solved quickly (like before you need to turn on the air conditioning)!
Hi Chris - I have been anxious for summer as soon as Christmas was over!
Hi Keisha - Glad to put a smile on your face!
Hi Debbie - This is the kind of ice that you can see around (unless you get a really big shave ice)!
Hi Andrea - Any shave ice stands in New Milford? : )
Hi Rick - If I had put beer or wine on my back porch during the super bowl, it probably would have slid off and headed down to my neighbor's house (like my shovel did)!
Many of us could use a few days at the beach to go along with the shaved ice. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Roy - Thanks for sharing the flower--it would look nice with my shaved ice!
Chris....I agree totally! Have a great night!---Rob
Hi Rob - I think I saw that your area was experiencing messy weather lately, but I don't think it was the snow that you wanted to see!
