In Montgomery County, MD we are fortunate to have Brookside Gardens in the Wheaton Regional Park.  I enjoy taking photographs in the gardens and I seek the colors of the season. The flowers brighten my day and enhance my attitude. It is difficult to have negative thoughts when capturing the beauty of a flower. Always have a camera in hand to capture the moment. www.brooksidegardens.org

Please share your photographs of the seasonal colors in your community in the comments for this post.

I used my Canon PowerShot G11 camera for these photographs.

Roy, Obviously, these pictures are beautiful.  You're just a regular "flower child..." aren't you.  Were you also a "flower child" back in the 1970's ?

Roy, your pictures remind me of my rose garden back when I lived in the Chicago area.  Well, it looks like our recent frosts my have killed off my hibiscus and, with our drips systems here and little rain, the roses actually love our Arizona weather.  So, if the hibiscus are actually dead, I'm going to roses come spring.  Do you know the name of the middle rose?  I LOVE those colors.

Nice shots, Roy! For the first one I thought 'fireworks'. For 2 and 3, 'fragrant' came to mind.
