Just saw this on my Facebook Page.

notice

If you have a page it’s probably there too.  What’d did they change now?

They simply are changing the layout to better match the new Profile layout  – that’s all.

Here’s what happened when I upgraded my page…

Here’s a detail post from Facebook: LINK

One of the better features I like…

Better Communication

Many people have asked for better ways to keep up with activity on their Page. We are introducing a set of features to help manage your Page communication.Starting today, you can navigate and interact with other areas of Facebook as your Page. This means you can choose to receive notifications about fan activity, Like and comment on other Pages as your Page, and get your own News Feed where you can engage with the latest and most important news from other Pages you like.

I’ll report more as I learn more!

UPDATE: Tab widths are NOT changing to 493 pixels! (per ALL Facebook article here)

UPDATE: You can now change categories at will!  Still can’t change my title but it’s cool.

category change

Hmmm. I wonder is this is going to be better without the tabs across the top.

No Panic.  The functinality of the new layout is awesome.  In my opinion it is a major improvement to the site.

Mike - I really need to spend a little more time on my facebook page, but if I didn't read your posts, I probably would never even look at it. Thanks for the update.

Seems like they are always changing things just when we are getting comfortable with the last change.

As I asked in your Facebook thread, I assume this doesnt' change what visitors see when they click on your page from your icon wherever it may be posted... Any settings we need to change or anything else we need to do?

The only thing certain in life is change...we just need to learn to ride along.  Thanks Mike for the calm exterior to encourage us to keep at it.
