"R" is for Oysters and for Shuckin' on the Strand
Any month with an "R" in it means oyster season is here in South Carolina. The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce"s third annual gsScene "Shuckin' on the Strand Oyster Roast" will be on Saturday February 12 from 1-6pm.
Attendance is limited to 500 people and will be held at Hot Fish Club, 4911 US 17 Business, Murrells Inlet. Tickets are $20 and are available at the door, if not sold out. Call 843-916-7232 to register and check availability.
The tickets include all-you-can-eat oysters, two drinks with the food preparation by Prosser's BBQ.
gsScene was formed in May 2008 with community service as a main goal and has grown to more than 350 area young professionals ages 21 to 39. Events are held monthly and can be checked on the website or Facebook page.
