Each year a group of friends and I decide to help out the Special Olympics. It's called the Polar Bear Plunge. Name of the event pretty much says it all. We are going to jump into the Ohio River at the end of Feb and hope that we don't get Frost Bite lol. It's for a great cause and Louisville really makes a huge deal with it. I am always shocked at the number of people that come out for these events. People dress up like anything from being in a snuggie which i think is cheating to being like my crew and having our entire bodies painted like super heros and REALLY freezing.
It's all about having fun, right? It's sooo cold. This is one way that I try to give back for being blessed in the work that I do. Alot of people don't have the same oppurtunity's as others.
