Back from Vacation ... Back to Work ... in Ocean City, New Jersey
We returned from our 10-day cruise to the Caribbean aboard the Norwegian Gem out of New York City. Arrived back on Friday afternoon, picked up our accumulated mail, stopped at the real estate office, went for Chinese takeout with nothing much in our refrigerator, and spent the night at home catching up on everything including some laundry.
We had email access throughout the cruise as well as the occasional cell phone contact on several islands. So I was able to schedule a buyer for sale property showings today (Saturday). I was also able to forward additional email information (particularly summer rentals) to my partner back at the office throughout the trip. So I got right back into the "real estate role" today at 8AM. We went to about ten properties today.
It was a great vacation ... our winter cruise vacation, but it always nice to get back too. I'm relaxed and ready for the start of our "fall buying period." It is the best time of year with more buyers here in Ocean City (NJ) than at any other time in the calendar year. So I'm back and in the groove. Wish me well!!! dap
