Yep, that's right, ME.

This post was the start of it.  I was thinking of making it Members Only but thought, what the hay, why not let the public have a giggle.

Then this happened.  For some reason everyone thought I would be able to provide them with the names of the properties Mubarak owns. 

There followed a call from the Washington Editor of the Sunday Telegraph of London, and then the local NBC Affliate. The latter was an intern who asked me some questions and I thought that was the end of it.  It wasn't.

The reporter herself called to ask if she could interview me.  Why, I wondered.  But was not going to turn down the opportunity.


She came over with a cameraman at around 8:00 and I was on the news at 11:00 sandwiched between Barak Obama and Barbra Streisand. 

Today I went into a store and someone came up and said they had seen me on TV last night.  I also got an email from someone I haven't spoken to in about 20 years.

I was in total shock all last night.  You never know what will happen when you put something online.

And the icing on the cake is that the ever gracious Margaret Rome from Baltimore called to congratulate me.

Jane,

The power of Active Rain and Google is amazing!  Have you found me a condo on Wilshire that has a large enough lobby for my favorite hobby of tomahawk throwing?  I found you through Active Rain because of a comment you made on a blog about a place called Red Feather Lakes where you said,  "I think I will be coming up for the tomahawk throwing".  You can trust a real estate agent who knows how to throw a tomahawk!

My days in Egypt are numbered and I don't wish to end up sleeping on a park bench!

Hey Jane - If Hosni's needing a place, maybe you can find something for Papa Doc too.  This could develop into another niche market.  Soone they'll get an agent and get on the talk show circuit.  They'll need a getaway place from the hustle of LA.  When they do -- ASHEVILLE NC's calling!  We folks here in the South know how outsiders love it here...

OMG Jane!!!! You couldn't ask for better "advertising" if you tried.  You handled yourself like a pro (but of course).  I'm just (finally) coming back into the loop today after a rather hectic week, and I'm so glad I caught this video clip.  Bravo, Cheers, and I love that a few folks have recognized you on the street.  You may have to set up a personal entourage if this escalates any further.

Jane, I am serious about your TV future on Channel 4 news!  You watch and see how many times they call on you this year.  When stories develop news stations have precious hours to track down sources and people to comment.  You are now on their radar.

Speaking of radar!!!  Can you do anything about the five day forecast through Wednesday?  Cold and rainy with highs in the 50's and lows in the low 40's?  Anaheim promised Keller Williams warm and sunny weather for their Family Reunion convention this weekend!  It looks like we have to pack  jackets and umbrellas.  Hate to leave our 60 degree weather in Indiana!!!   ^_~
