This last week I previewed a beautiful custom home in The Polo Club at Rooster Springs for some out of state Buyers who are considering this development in the Greater Austin area. At their request I took lots of pictures of the home, and the equestrian facilities as they have a daughter who is becoming quite competative rider.
The Polo Club at Rooster Springs is a gated community with homes and lots available from 1/2 acre and up. Located in Dripping Springs area of the Texas Hill Country the terrain varies from level to slightly rolling. The development has a number of beautiful lakes and man made water features. Homes on lots greater than 1 acre can have horses on their property as per CC&R's.
For those homeowners who do not have horse facilities on their property The equestrian facilities at The Polo Club has a lot to offer the aspiring rider . The facilities include a number of lovely barns, trainers, round pens, walkers, covered and outdoor arenas both with lights and awesome footing, turn out, tack and trailer storage . When I was there it was one of the colder days of the winter but sunny. The horses were all blanketed and out in the turn outs for some excercise and sunlight. The barns were pretty spotless. There were some hard core riders there even though it was only about 28 degrees out. Made me feel a little guilty that I wasn't out riding myelf but work comes first!
