A Good Day To Visit The Brookside Gardens Conservatory

When the weather is too cold for normal outdoor activities, it is a good time to visit the Conservatory at Brookside Gardens in the Wheaton Regional Park in Montgomery County, Maryland. The current exhibit is the Spring Display and admission is free. www.brooksidegardens.org It is always a good idea to have a camera in hand when visiting the special places in our community.

I use a Canon PowerShot G11 camera and my wife Dolores uses a Canon PowerShot S90 camera.

Wow, Roy.  You never cease to amaze me with your photos.  Good work.  Question, are the flowers really this vivid or do you think the camera enhances it?  Do you do any work on them, like photoshop, to make the colors stand out? They always look so great!

Good morning Wayne and Kimberly. Thanks for your very positive feedback. Kimberly, the photographs are edited using the software that comes with the Canon cameras. I have not yet advanced to the use of Photoshop.
