8 Comments on Laramie, Wyoming Real Estate: When can I move In?
Ha! I've been going through this one for a few weeks now with a buyer. It's a 12,000 sf building that needs extensive remodeling. The seller already gave permission for the buyer to cut exploratory holes in it to look at the framing, insulation, and roofing, but drew the line there. The buyer wants to start his remodel NOW. And today, closing got held up another day because Fedex lost, then found, the buyer's signed docs...
Tim, now that's a tricky one! I think it's even trickier when a buyer wants to pour their money into it before the closing - there's alot of what-ifs there! Hope it closes soon and everyone can be happy!
Brenda, somebody in the past few weeks posted this exact same thing. I think the buyers were living in an RV in the back yard if I'm not mistaken or something like that. Thanks for the reminder.
Joe, Now that's a creative twist I didn't even think about! I can't even imagine all the negotiations that take place as closings near!
Hi Brenda - Good job on the blog. Some things can never have enough written about them seeing as how they come up so often. You seem to be working in an interesting niche, frogs. With the size of those families it seems to me bigger and bigger places will be needed...grin Thanks for the blog.
Hi Steve - Yes, they seem to be making a big splash in the market!
Brenda--I had a deal fall one week before closing because seller would not agree to pre-closing possession. This was just last year. I was the listing agent. Seller is now leasing the home. :-(
Pat - What a bummer! Sounds like it was a lose-lose situation for everybody . . .
