It’s too bad that the Red Cross still has an outdated policy against certain people giving blood because there are many of those certain people who used to give blood and would love to give again.

I always gave blood.  We had contests at our workplace to see who could give the most quarts.  My boss gave gallons over his lifetime.  When I had chemo the nurse said I could no longer give blood.  Hmmm, I think I'll check that out.  I always felt so much better after I donated.  Thanks for reminding me, I need to check this out.  :)

Good to see your support of local events. Everyone that can should donate blood. You never know you may need donated blood for yourself.

Thinking about green orchids for Saint Patrick's Day.

Hey Ann,

I'm not very strong when it comes to needles, but I do donate time to time :) Good luck and I hope they get a great turnout :)
