Way back in 1966 a new friend of mine turned me on to a baseball game produced in Lancaster,PA. It had numerous playing boards and used just two dice to produce real life game situations. Each major league team had 26 carded players and the APBA game company guaranteed replay accuracy !
Today the game exists in both it's original table game format of cards and dice, or is available as a windows product. I've been playing in a 24 team league since 1972. We have evolved to a web based organization @ http://abacommish.brinkster.net . We hold a league convention in March, a Baltimore Oriole weekend every August, and wheel and deal(trade players) all year long. One added benefit has been long standing friendships that have been developed with managers from all around the country. I've visited many of them and often we took in a MLB game . I'm curious, do we have any other APBA players in the Rain ? www.apbagames.com
