Only You Can Decide This Controversy

I recently got introduced to YouTube. It was yesterday. I have seen these videos on other people's blogs, but I really didn't appreciate just how much really good stuff was available. For free!

Being an old guy I like music from the ‘50s and ‘60s. My wife was on the site. I became interested. I took over the computer. She's still mad.

Anyway I found this stuff by Johnny Cash. It was great, but I really cracked up watching his impersonation of Elvis. And then Elvis counter-attacked. Now I don't know if these giys were friends but they did get their starts at Sun Records at about the same time. It was a small label so they must have run into each other there.

You can watch them both and decide for yourself.

THEN VOTE ON YOUR FAVORITE. I will keep track of the votes and up-date this post to show the totals for each.

                        Johnny Cash                             Elvis Pressley

                       _____________                            ____________

                                    3                                              1

Only you can decide this controversy, so vote early and vote often.

Hands Down, Johnny Cash RULES!

May he rest in peace.  I loved his impersonation.

I am a pretty big local history buff and I fould some great footage the Altamont concert (west coast version of Woodstock) here in Tracy.

Below is Rolling Stones video with footage of the Altamont Concert. Also below that, In 1968, Bill Owens photographed the Altamont, the  He took the stills and turned them into a movie.
