Today, I had five BPO's to do on my schedule.  Two in Shallotte, one in Holden Beach, on in Boiling Spring Lakes and one in Winnabow.  I tried to do the two in Shallotte yesterday, but got to the community to find that it was gated and I had none of the codes to gain my entrance.  With a listing appointment 30 miles away, I had to come back to office and try to complete today.

Need more facts when going out to do this work.

Amen Ginger. Man going into anything blind is asking for trouble and frustration. As they say, knowledge is power!!! Alittle up front home work and reasearch saves lot of time, money and frustration!!!!  Great point and I'll keep that in mind!

Ginger, reminds me of the time a client wanted to see a gated condo in Myrtle Beach.  The listed agent had the wrong code; we waited 30 minutes at the gate.  Finally, we acquired the correct code and we raced to the condo only to find there was no lockbox.  MLS said there was one but he had not had a chance to drive from Litchfield to put it on; he would meet me at Inlet View Mall to give me a key...needless to say, we never saw that condo.

I had the same problem, I arrived at the gated community and the guard told me I had to schedule in advance and the BPO community never let me know about this.
