26 Comments on Mother Nature Isn't Always Fair
Karen - I have come to believe that Mother Nature can be a pretty fickle old gal:-) Especially this winter!
Been a while since we have seen that much green Karen. Wonder why that single tree was affected.
Hi Karen your photo reminds of a old song named 'Bare Trees'. I see the beauty in the bare one against the green variety of the evergreens.
Chuck You deserve green after this winter
Bruce Now that is a compliment LOL
Deborah So true
Carol Thank you very much
Rich That thought should make that little guy happy
Steve Thank you - it was taken in Lake Ridge where I have countless opportunities
Myrl This winter certainly proves it
Randy Probably diseased or not planted properly
Cynthia Many people see many different things
Great caption Karen - At the end of my day I sometimes feel like that poor little tree! Thanks for sharing!
Blessings ~ Lisa Korade - Norfolk, VA
Lisa I understand perfectly :)
Good afternoon, Karen. That image reminds me of a pine tree that I planted in my backyard and nurtured for seven years. It was about the same height and looked beautiful. Then suddenly, it died... Looked just like the one in your photo. (I was really bummed.)
Karen, it may be dead but it is almost attractive in the setting.
Karen, maybe Mother Nature just has other plans for this tree. Birds are going to look for sticks for nest building pretty soon! The good thing in nature is that nothing ever goes to waste!
Bill I can relate to that - we've had it happen
Damon That is very true
Silvia As long as they build the nest in my yard I'd be happy
