refrigerator Lately I've been on a whirlwind of listing appointments in my community and will be offering some great properties coming on the market in the next 4 weeks.

Something I see in common as they are showing me through their homes is my calendar on their refrigerator. I deliver them every Thanksgiving. Now I'm sure it's not just the calendar that garners me these appointments & listings but it is part of the consistent marketing I do to keep my name in front of them. Don't discount the value of them seeing your face every day!!

Ours like the ones you put on the refrigerator..even though we all have calendars in our phones with a family they like a central focal point to refer to for daily activities.

I agree and I have clients that look forward to getting them. I now do them at Thanksgiving to beat the Christmas rush and that has been effective!

That doesn't work..consistency is the key..multiple pieces and different forums..just sending a calendar every year is not enough marketing and is money wasted!

Hi Dori - excellent marking tip because everybody needs a calendar and it's not like a pen that's kept in the junk drawer along with all their other pens. Anyway to keep your name and company on peoples mind is bound to create more business. I think I'll look into ordering calendars in the future...

There's nothing wrong with being one of the refrigerator magnets. After all, people use the fridge every day. I have business card magnets that I hand out for just that same reason.

yes any way of marketing that is working for you, keep it up! I agree with Craig too, Magnets are the way to go...I remember my mother and I did a follow up Feng Shui consult for a client and what did we see? A magnet we gave them, she said, "I always keep it on my refrigerator in case I need to contact you and I know it will never get lost."

Dorie, I don't do much paper marketing anymore. My one exception is my refrigerator calendars. I know they bring me business plus my clients expect it.
