30 Comments on Cheap house on Lake Sinclair- needs LOTS of repairs (PENDING)
Toni- make us an offer. LOL But seriously I think the view is worth the money the bank is asking and I'd love to see someone love and care for that place.
Tammy - I like that you didn't shy away from stating your true opinion on the property. Others may have just said it needs some TLC, but I think in this case the view and the location could be worth someone's time/money to tear down and rebuild. Best of luck!
Tammy ~ I would see if the local Fire Dept. would have a fire? Then sell the lot. hmmmm maybe an idea. I bet YOU sell it sooner than you think! Good Luck
Kim- no sugar coating from me. LOL
June- we used to do that here, the fire dept have training fires at actual homes, but not anymore. Too much "stuff" has to be removed first and it makes it cost so much. But I do love that lot.
Well, I can see 3 baths. One for each of you and an extra in case one doesn't work, LOL. I'd love a project like this on the lake. And, hey, at least the plumbing is in place for 3 baths.
How cheap is it Tammy?
Elizabeth- lots of lake homes have the extra bath that has a door to outside so you can come in from the lake without going across carpet or hardwood if you have been in the lake.
Charita- oh goodness me... how could I have left that out of my post. It's there now. It's $84,900.
Tammy~ For some people, it's all about the view, not to mention the lake access.
I can picture someone just buying it for the view. Using it for a while and then rebuilding on that site.
Tammy, Sue’s been bugging me about this property. Don’t be too surprised if you see us this summer.
Liz- I love a nice view.
Sue- I would use the better condition guest house for now.
Michael- I'd love to see you guys, but I gotta tell you, I don't think this house will last until summer.
I'm not handy at all, but that is a great price for the right person. Hope you're doing well Tammy.
Chris
Hi Tammy-A place on the water is always nice. I hope someone that is handy buys it or someone that just decides to tear it down and start over. Either way I hope you have a quick sale.
Tammy - cool property! Looks like a photo from one of those AR contests on "How to advertise this property!" I would definitely tear it down for that view!
Chris- just have "taxitis" at the moment. Other than that, I'm great. We've had beautiful weather.
Sharon- I don't think it will last long at this price.
Melissa- I think the view is worth the price too.
Tammy - Interesting buy for under $100,000 on the lake! Best of Luck with it! Location, Location, Location!
Denise- this one truly is about the location. Activity has gotten heavy on it. I hope by this time next week we'll have a contract.
Great post! Very nice property at great price for the right buyers!
Thanks for sharing,
Adam
Tammy--love teh title of this post. Let us know when it sells. I want to know what happens. I love before & after stories.
sure thing Adam.
Mary- well it's certainly getting the attention and today we got not one, but two offers. So I will be back to let everyone know if we get a contract.
