CBP named in Business Journal Corporate Philanthropy Special Edition
September 21, 2007 (Tualatin, OR) Portland Business Journal to list Chris Balmes Properties in their Corporate Philanthropy special edition on October 12, 2007.
The Corporate Philanthropy program culminates in October with an awards dinner at the Rose Garden Arena on Monday, October 8th. This will be the Business Journal's first philanthropy event, which will recognize the top ten companies in each category.
"I have been very involved with the Oregon Humane Society for many years. I have also enjoyed volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. My partner, Lisa Balmes PC has volunteered for the Special Olympics since 1991 and has walked in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure many times. She has donated to Child Haven, Portland Hope Meadows and American Heart Association. She is also Executive Director for the Brian Blades Foundation. We both have also supported her alma mater, Pacific Lutheran University, as well as Goodwill and Salvation Army over the years," said Principal Broker, Chris Balmes PC. "We enjoy any opportunity to give back to those in need. We firmly believe that what goes around will come back around."
