While showing homes earlier this week at Heritage Isle, Viera’s premier 55+ gated community, I co
mmented about Heritage Isle’s really nice fitness center within it's 19,000 club complex. My clients also asked about other nearby fitness centers as they were not totally committed to 55+ living - yet.
The first fitness center that comes comes to mind is the Health First Pro-Health Fitness complex in Viera next door to the new Viera Hospital (opening scheduled for April; open house to be held March 26.)
The Health First Pro-Health Fitness Center is a two story state of the art 68,000 sq ft facility offering pools, an indoor track, fitness and nutrition classes, personal trainers, indoor racquetball courts, gyms with regulation basketball and volleyball courts, sauna, steam room, free wi-fi cafe, and much, much more!
If you live in Suntree the Wuesthoff Suntree YMCA Family Center at 6300 N. Wickham Road may be more convenient. The Wuesthoff facility offers fitness classes, indoor cycling, weight training equipment, pools, swimming lessons year round, and more. Check them out!
For those living in Viera East or Rockledge there are a couple of other fitness centers as well that may be more convenient including Planet Fitness in Rockledge and the Sunbay Fitness Center in Viera East.
