Shannon forest is a small custom subdivision located in Spring, TX off of Stuebner Airline and inbetween Louetta Rd. and Spring Cypress. There are about 150 homes in Shannon Forest with nice sized lots ranging from just under 1/4 acre to over 1/2 an acre.

Shannon Forest offers a very nice club house, tennis courts, pool and playground.  You'll see people walking their dogs all times of the day and evening.

Many of the homes in the subdivision have pools and some have guest houses built over the detached garage.  As more new homes are being built, it is getting harder to find established subdivisions with larger lots and the nice trees that Shannon Forest offers.  The subdivision is in the highly acclaimed Klein ISD.

Candy, These homes are just beautiful and all different.  I love the amenities it offers as well...best of luck, I'm sure they'll sell fast.

Hi Marchel, Shannon Forest is indeed a great subdivision-Close to Malls, Bush Intercontinental Airport, and only about 22 miles from downtown Houston.

Candy, NICE post! You've sold me...I'm ready to move!  We are in a complex similar to this one you show (with all the amenities)...if I were ever to move I'd want something in an area like we have.

Candy, nice subdivision love the big pine trees.  Dont think of Texas as having trees like that.  Guess its from the old western movie scenes.  Looks like desert and sage brush in them.

Paul, The Houston Northwest area has beautiful trees and is known as the piney woods.  Spring Texas is close to Houston, yet you will see cattle or horses in a field. Before moving to Houston, I too had the misconception that all of Texas was very barren.

This looks like a nice place to live. The lot sizes are bigger than we typically see here. My friend that just moved to Austin told me how beautiful and green Texas is. I can't wait to visit her and see for myself.

Bridget,  Yes Texas is green and beautiful.  This subdivision has nice sized lots, some of the new home subdivisions are not as large.  Thank you for your comment.

Shellee - Shannon Forest is a great place to live and people love it in there as there are never very many homes for sale at any one time.  Thank you for the compliment on the pool picture, actually, a good friend of mine lives by the pool and she ran and took the photo of the pool for me as I was so busy.  She did a great job.
