I had to join this group when I found it ! It brought back great memories of my own 4 children who are now 20, 17, 12, and 10 all having a flat Stanley. We have flat Stanley still tucked away in their chest in the attic. It made me try to remember where all out flat Stanley's went!! Let see at the time we lived in West Texas, Andrea sent her flat Stanley to Dallas to my sister. My brother in law is a crew chef leader for AER racing. They have a Lamond car, a craftsman truck, and they do sponsor a NASCAR. My sister made him a race suit and a helmet. He did ride in the race car during the race but I do not know if it ever made air time on TV but it would be funny if it did!! Keleigh my 2nd daughter does competitive cheerleading..So if you ever see it on ESPN she is with the Spirit of Texas from Arlington Texas. They won the National Cheerleading Association Nationals. She was cheering at the time and they were going to competition in Atlanta so she sent Stanley to the owners of the cheer competition that we were going to. Stanley told the adventure of how to get a cheerleading nationals ready at the World Congress Center for 40,000 cheerleader!! Stanley loved having his picture made with all the cheerleaders!! Cute girls he said!! Coleton send his Stanley to New York to my best friend so he went to Broadway, central park and ground zero. Carson sent his flat Stanley to high school friend of mine who owns a large working ranch in Texas and they compete in ranch rodeos. Stanley road on the horse, had a hat, and chaps, and had a great time living the life of a cowboy! These were our experiences with our Flat Stanley!! I look forward to hearing the adventures of all of yours!!

I think Flat Stanley is the coolest project for a child of that age. One of the agents in our office had to take Flat Stanley around for a day or two. It was the funniest thing. The agent that had it a crazy though and she made a "big deal" out of it. She had so much fun with Sganley she even made a scrap book of the plcaes flat Stanley went and documented it with photos.
