Phew!! I Was Afraid You Moved To Florida

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Executives
Considering how cold it has been in Northern Virginia this winter I was afraid the Spring bulbs had left town. This small group of daffodil volunteers inhabit the heavily wooded common ground behind our Lake Ridge home. Of course, each year they do their "daffodil thing" and the group expands a little bit. They are our first indicator each year that winter is going to end as we know it will. However, it is nice to receive the confirmation. The green is a very welcome sight

Karen, I SO LOVE the first signs of spring.  I wish that bulb type plants grew out here in the southwest.

Afternoon Karen, I LOVED your title and accompanying photo :~)

Now being new to our current home I've been anxiously awaiting what presents the owners may have planted. This morning I saw bits of slim green leaves pop up from the mulch! It's a good day.

Good shot. We are very anxious for an early spring in Maryland. I have enough flower pictures from Longwood Gardens to last until we see some blooms in Kentlands.

Life is better when there are flowers to photograph!

Karen--Amazing, isn't it?  They live through the deep freeze and come back to give us pleasure each spring.  Living through winter certainly helps make us appreciative!!

Karen that is a good indicator spring is just around the corner.  If my bulbs peeped out I am sure the deer had a feast+:)

Karen, We are seeing and smelling signs of spring being in the air here in Florida. The weather has been so nice.  It's time for us to start fertlilizing our lawns to get rid of those brown patches. And, I see neighbors are starting to plant.  I love this time of year.
