The weather is so beautiful this afternoon, and before I head out the door to do some more fun stuff (aka work), I have to put into writing about how I feel.

Being in an artistic industry, I sometimes have to stop and remember that every job is an opportunity to express the artistic side of Architecture, and represent our clients in a way that will make them stand-out.  It's very easy to forget that work is supposed to be fun.

So Darnit!  I'm gonna go and have some fun today!   WOOHOO!

What about you?

Happy Marketing, and I wish you the best!

Very important to take time for yourself so you can be the best you can be for your clients! I hope you enjoyed this fantastic day! I got a little creative myself and went door-to-door marketing in my neighborhood all while pulling my twins (all 70 pounds of them) in the wagon while we dropped off fliers...a little work, a little fun, and a little exercise!

Beautiful, Strauch!  I am heavy with buyers right now, not so much sellers.  You are HIRED next time I have a listing!

What a great attitude to head out the door with.  Our gorgeous weather doesn't hurt much right now.  I only hope it is nice this weekend as I am lucky enough to be holding 2 open houses!!

Shannon,
You said it! Taking time for yourself is always something we should do.  As a Daddy of a 6 and 4 year old girls, my wife and I are always trying to incorporate our work with them. (although it's hard to do sometimes)  It's great to see other parents that share this kind of thinking.  Good luck to you, and I hope that your marketing works well.  Now stretch those legs, and go out and do it again!  WOOHOO!

Jennifer,
Thank you for the compliment!  We all need to hear nice things from time to time, as it makes our days and jobs seem worhwhile... and keeps it FUN!  I would be honored to work for you any time... just let me know.  Good luck with your buyers, the market really seems to be improving and I'm sure that you'll do well.

Belinda,
I find that attitude is everything.  Call it paranoia or superstition, but whenever I'm crabby, the phone never rings.  It's supposed to be pretty nice this weekend, and I'm sure that you'll do just fine.  Best of luck this weekend, and I wish you the best in finding some buyers!

Whenever I hear someone say the  "the Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" I always comment  well maybe, "But your Sky is Bluer than his".  When you think of if it that guy that is looking down at the ground must not be to happy.  he should hold his head up high and look to the sky!

You're right Jason!  The analogy is a great way to understand pessimism vs. optimism.  Thanks for the insight!
