Las Vegas--Living with the Stars
One of the interesting things about living in Las Vegas is there are many celebrities that live in our community. Not only can you run into or live near the many talented entertainers and musicians that perform here, but there are several other that call Las Vegas home. They range from names such as Jerry Lewis, Tony Curtis, and Marty Allen, to Motley Crue's Vince Neil, baseball Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers and Tennis great Andre Agassi....and many more.
It's not often that celebrity homes come on the market, but it does happen. Currently the late Rodney Dangerfield's beautiful condo is for sale. The man who could get no respect had some great taste for living at this finely appointed unit at the Las Vegas Country Club, located just minutes off the Strip.
Another home that is now available is Monte Carlo magician Lance Burton's Spanish styled home on .8 acres, zoned as horse property. Priced at just $700,000, the 5 bedroom 3 bath 3500+ sf home, with pool and gazebo in the backyard, is where Lance has been entertaining his celebrity friends since his move to Vegas in 1984. He's not leaving the valley just yet as his 13 year contract, the longest in Las Vegas history, is running until June 2009. Lance is moving up to a custom home on 10 acres, nestled into a terraced foothill on the mountains of the eastern side of the valley.
You could also become neighbors of Siegfried and Roy's 'Little Bavaria' 50 acre estate. A few years ago they sold a portion of their land to D. R. Horton for a new home development.
These are just a few examples of what makes Las Vegas real estate, and living, just a little more interesting.
