39 Comments on Friday's Fotos ~ Early Songs of Spring...
It has been a pleasure not dealing with snow this year!!!
Loving the early signs of spring
Gorgeous purple Michael! Must be left over from your purple badge LOL! We are only seeing parts of green blades of grass in patches as the snow is finally melting.....spring is coming!
Spring has sprung here in the Raleigh area too! Buh-bye Winter! I won't be missing you!
If the heads on my tulips are popping, there under 2 feet of snow lol
Enjoy the day
Michael,
That is a gorgeous color of purple for sure.
What beautiful flowers.
Nothing has popped up here in Southern Texas...,We usually get Indian Paint Brushes and Blue Bonnets.
However, you can see tinnie tiny buds starting to appear at the very end of tree branches so it is not far away...and the song birds have arrived.
Dang, what a clear shot! I love it, the colors are awesome!
Michael, it is beginning to smell like spring! Nothing popping up yet.
Mike,
We seem to be a couple weeks behind you. The only thing I see in the yard or the leaves that found their way in, and couldn't get out.
Rich
Like Richard above I have only dried leaves....love your photograph, just beautiful Michael.
Michael - I'm not a huge Daffodil fan but I lovvvvve Crocuses. We had the most beautiful weather here in the Sacramento area for a 2 weeks or more and I was afraid to enjoy it because I knew it was short lived and winter was not over for us. I guess I thought it would make it easier when the bad weather returned but I was wrong............. Happy Friday to you!
Michael,
I am starting to think that you are a true romantic. Thanks for sharing the photo with us my friend.
Nice photo Michael. We will also be ready to see some green, tired of looking at all the brown frozen plants and turf.
We had two terrifically frozen days in Tucson last week and it's amazing to drive around and see the damage. Trees that were just starting to bud have lost everything. "Evergreens" have dropped their 'green'. Citrus had fruit popsickles. Prickly pear and barrell cactus just "flattened" to the ground. It will be interesting to see the growth of spring venture forth again. I love your brilliant photo.
Michael, we have no signs of spring just yet, except that yesterday I did see a fly buzzing around my office.
Michael ~ as always, another beautiful photo. Love the colors!
You got croackeye* already? That's not fair.
* That's the plural of croackus.
Michael, we are still a few weeks away from the first crocuses bursting through... but I cannot wait =)
Michael, we don't have crocuses and tulips here :( but we are seeing signs of Spring here (don't laugh, even Florida has seasonal changes). I do miss the spring flowers up north. What a beautiful photo.
