Once called snob hill in the early days of Clarks Chapel in Franklin, NC development. It is still a sought after community. It is south of town off US 441S. about six miles. It is a beautiful community know to have yearly yard contests to see who has the prettiest landscaping in the neighborhood.
Surrounded by the Nantahala Forest, Clarks Chapel still has lots of farm land in this area. The farmers have tiled the ground and are just about to plant. Local produce can be bought from these farms and road side stands are very popular.
The Little Tennessee River runs through this entire area.
