Dubbed Bridgewater, the community would rank as Erie's largest housing development and could add another 10,000 residents to the town's population of 19,000 when fully built in six to 10 years. It would largely consist of single-family homes, but would also include a mix of townhomes and apartments.
"This is probably the development of the decade and it's a testament to everything Erie offers," Erie Mayor Joe Wilson said.
