Pahlmeyer Wine Events at The Greenbrier, March 4th and 5th

 

The first weekend in March, you have an opportunity to attend a vertical wine tasting, a wine blending seminar and an elegant dinner with some superb wine.

 

The Greenbrier will  be featuring the renowned Pahlmeyer Wines, with Erin Green, director of wine growing and wine maker at Pahlmeyer Wines, hosting the following three events: 

On Friday, March 4, Erin Green will present the vertical wine tasting featuring seven wines, including several older vintages. The intimate classroom setting will allow guests to explore many of the varieties she bottles.

On Saturday, March 5, Green will teach the art of wine blending, complete with a hands-on blending trial.  The highlight of the weekend will be an elegant wine dinner. The four-course, five-wine dinner will be held in The Greenbrier’s magnificent Presidential Suite. Reservations are required for all three events as space is limited.

 

The coveted Pahlmeyer Wines are created from exceptional mountain vineyards in California’s Napa Valley and Sonoma Coast, including the Pahlmeyer family’s Waters Ranch and Wayfarer Farm. These vineyards, combined with Green’s passion and talent, produce wines with both balance and elegance.

Rebecca - The Greenbrier looks like a fabulous place to stay (great website videos too).  That bunker looks interesting.  I also love wine tastings too!  Been to quite a few up in Cali wine country (Sonoma & Napa counties).
