You've got your own route to your destination? Right? So have I. I drive down East Market Street near Harding University everyday. Each day I compare the lovely old houses on the North side vs. the apartments and changes on the South side.
I especially like this house. The court house says it was built in 1945.
It has more curves than a fashion model! Over the windows, over the doors, and even the roof line curves. It appears to be a delightful mixture of brick, rock and stucco.
But for the past few days as I drive by the door is open. Did a renter move out? Will the door not work? Is it about to be demolished? What's the story? I'm hoping my reporter friend, Luke, can solve this mystery. He says the house is on the Historic Register so perhaps he can educate us on this too.
