AMA Supercross at Qualcomm Stadium

The AMA Supercross Series comes to Qualcomm Stadium on Saturday, February 19. Qualifying rounds begin at 12:30 p.m. and are open to the public, and the main event begins at 7:00 p.m.

If by chance you don't have a clue about Supercross, this is where supposedly sane people fly through the air on their motorcycles. One of those events that is fun to watch, but....

This is where you can see Ryan Villopoto (current points leader), James Stewart (#2), Trey Canard, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, Andrew Short, Brett Metcalfe, Justin Bieber Brayton, David Millsaps, Kevin Windham, and others fight it out for more points on their way to the Supercross championship for 2011.

Cost is $10-$35, and if you bring a Monster Energy can with you to recycle, you can get free admission to the pit between 12:30 and 6:00 p.m., providing that you purchased an event ticket to begin with.
