Speaker: Supervisor Bill Campbell Supervisor Campbell spoke about the new Measure M2 which is a 1/2 cent tax that was passed in 2006. It should raise about $15 Billion over a period of 30 years. 25% of the funds will go for Mass Transit; 43% for Freeways and 32% for local roads. Highlights of the presentation: 1.Improvements are planned for SR-91, SR-55, SR 57 and west county connectors. Other improvements will include new underpass/overpass bridges in Orange County. Villa Park Road has been designated a major road and stimulus money will be used to make improvements.
