I once had a seller tell me that he wanted to move away from Coweta County because: “there: is nothing here!”
I asked him to explain and he said that there were no beaches or mountains or other geographical or geological features that sets Coweta County apart from anywhere else.
It is true that we don’t have the seaside aura of Cape Cod or the ski slopes of Vail. But Coweta County offers suburban sophistication combined with a rural landscape that offers the best of both worlds and yet has excellent housing prices combined with relatively low taxation that keep the cost of living very affordable.
There are full time police, fire and paramedic services county wide, an excellent library system, a performing arts center, and now under construction the largest hospital on the south side of Atlanta.
And scheduled to open in June 2011 is the 2,900 acre Chattahoochee Bend State Park which will open new recreational opportunities for Cowetians and visitors alike!
Those considering a move to the Atlanta area should plan a visit to Coweta County Georgia.
For a place where “there is nothing here” it sure has a lot to offer!
