With the local real estate market in Southport showing signs of life, it’s time to catch up on what’s happening in Price’s Creek, a unique and colorful neighborhood just a bike ride away from Downtown Southport.
While the Brunswick County real estate market remains soft, and many now-labeled “ghost developments” sit in limbo, the Cottages of Price’s Creek now have a real eye for the future. A renewed interest is burgeoning and visible, bringing the dreams of current and future owners peace of mind, knowing that the vision of its original developer and architect is alive and well.
All of the unsold lots in Price’s Creek are now owned by a local bank and they are in the beginning stages of putting some lot/home packages together in the 300s. They will also be releasing a small number of lots that should hit the market sometime this Fall. Thanks to diligent efforts by the bank, the entrances and common areas have been spruced up, the pool and clubhouse have been completed and all signs are positive and moving forward.

In the mean time, here are a few pictures that I took over the summer that show just what a beautiful and unique community it really is. As a disclosure, I am a local Buyer’s Agent and have no official association with the Price’s Creek neighborhood, but I have loved it from the start and am excited again to see that it is once again a viable option for folks looking to buy in the Southport area.
