Roads panel brings ideas; Governor-appointed committee to take public comment on funding

Bixpo panel: Teamwork key to region's economy   A Reporter-Herald story says that, with an estimated population increase of 424,000 in Larimer and Weld counties by 2030, Northern Colorado needs to work as a region to succeed in the future, a panel of officials says.   Vacancies run short; Longmont rental availabilities lowest in six years   The Daily Times-Call reports that Longmont is experiencing the tightest rental market  in six years, partly driven by the high rate of foreclosures. The vacancy rate was 3.9 percent in the second quarter, according to the Colorado Division of Housing. In the north metro area, only sections of Boulder, unincorporated Boulder County and the Commerce City/Brighton areas have a lower vacancy rate.
