Pet issues in your Crofton, MD home for sale

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage 531132

A short video discussing two brief items about pets when you have your house for sale. The first has to do with showing instructions and letting agents and buyers know there will be a pet in the home. In the case of dogs, they should be secured. The second item deals with pet odors. If you have a pet, you have pet odors, plain and simple.

I'm using a video format because I can then embed it on my website, as well as Google is indexing videos very quickly. Enjoy!

Rich - GREAT idea. Why don't you send it out as an email postcard for marketing yourself?

Great points to touch on Rich. Recently had a showing where the showing instructions were all IN CAPS. I felt like the agent was yelling at me until I got to the heart of the message LARGE DOG IN HOME it said, got my attention! And then there was the message on the front door WARNING all who entered of the LARGE DOG IN HOME !

Great points Richard.  I'm just not convinced that video is the way to spread these types of messages.  But, if it works for you and Google, who am I to argue?

Very well done Richard - and a very sensitive way to put all those issues out there.  We all probably feel rather more strongly about the smells, and potential danger of pets, but you drew the picture very nicely.  I love my dog and my cat too - but I also try to be very aware that not everyone else feels the same.

Usually pets are not too much of a problem but I remember showing a house a few years ago where the dog was well secured behind a baby fence, however, the vicious barking and jumping scared my clients and made the home feel not so homey.

Well done our friend! Funny we just listed a property with a cat...made up signs for all the doors, cuz 'Gus' can't go out!  You are right, you never know, no one does, how a dog will react to strangers especially if the owners are not home!
