Did you know that you can have a detailed "NO COST" energy inspection and evaluation of your home performed by a certified diagnostician? We had this done last year to our personal home and it's made a HUGE difference.
They complete the following inspections:
- Attic insulation
- A/C and duct system (type, seer rating and inefficiencies)
- Air Filtration (blower door test to evaluate infiltation, duct and ventilation systems)
- Carbon Monoxde test
After evaluations are made, these services may be provide at NO COST to you for:
- Replacing weather stripping on windows and doors to reduce air leakeage
- Insulating light switches and plates
- Properly sealing of air ducts to increase energy efficiency
Improvement Results:
- Cleaner breathable air
- Lower usage on your electric bill
- Savings on your gas bill (if applicable)
City owned electric service provides (i.e. City of Garland utilities) or Co-op electric service (i.e., CoServ) DO NOT qualify for this service).
