Unfortunately the slow-down continues to take its toll. Just heard that an office I have used in the past is consolidating offices, along with some layoffs.

Snohomish!!! used to live there when I was 6 years old. Beautiful little town just outside of Seattle.
As to your article, yes things are tough, but those who live on will do just fine. I don't know how long you've been in the business, but with your population in Seattle, I'd focus on a niche market like Seniors, and talk to a number of insurance agents. Insurance is where it's at right now, and with Medicare supplemental open enrollment coming up this next month, nows the time to strike.
Hi Karl,
It is still a beautiful little town! The surrounding area has been growing beyond belief, though, as I am sure you can imagine.
I appreciate the advice, and I will be following it.
(Looks like you have a beautiful family, by the way!)
