Are You Pretty? Part II
I was catching up on Facebook this morning, and came across a comment stream on J. Phillip's page regarding behavior on Active Rain on a particular blog posting.
I've been a fan of Active Rain since June 2010, and applaud the professionalism, information and education it has provided to me through the last months. Most of all, I am a fan of the energy it brings to the start of my day, firing my enthusiasm and positive outlook.
I must admit after finding said blog, and spending over 30 minutes reading over 200 comments, that I lost the time I generally spend creating and researching my personal blog post, so it's just a quickie today.
All I can say after reading said blog, is that if I ever needed a professional stager, it wouldn't be Lisa that I'd call. If she moved to Tucson, AZ, I certainly wouldn't promote her.
Reading the post and comment trail, I am reminded of a post I just wrote a couple weeks past entitled, "Are You Pretty?"
Pretty is, as pretty does. Folks can have differing opinions and lively arguments - but professionalism is as plain as the nose on your face.
Transparency is key. I believe our actions speak louder than words - and I know that posting comments float out there in THE WEB forever.
Once again, I revert to the energizing effect of Active Rain. Between the cookies and Tiramisu, the train wrecks, the rocket scientist and the Bridge of the River Kwai, thank you Active Rain for making my day.
The biggest letdown to said blog was the comment disable at the end. What a blow.
Thanks Active Rain.
Any by the way, I love Oatmeal Raisin, heavy on the raisins please.
