9 Comments on Books, Brownies, Beans & Bistro - Goodies for a Good Cause
What a nice cause. And all while enjoying some of my favorite things. Not sure I can make it up that way, but I'll look into it.
Gretchen
Nancy, this looks like a great idea, and such fun as well. I am not sure how well mixing brownies and beans will turn out, though.
Nancy, sounds like a fun event for an important cause! I hope that it is a huge success!
HI Gretchen - hey it's not all that far!! Of course, we do have snow in the forecast right now - so hopefully Saturday doesn't find us snowed in! If you do head up this way, give me a call - I'd love to get together!
Karen Anne - I am hoping the beans refer to coffee beans - but not really sure! LOL Guess I better go on Saturday & find out. I know I'll like the books & brownies though.
Thanks Tony & Darcy - I'll come back & give a report of how the event goes (& how many books and/or brownies I buy!)
Wow! I should be in Olympia this weekend. I am an avid reader and a choc-o-holic and all for a good cause.
Nancy, perhaps it is because I am here in Fort Worth, Texas... surrounded by burrito beans... that I thought of that, first. I think coffee beans is much better. Yum... I can just taste it now... a wonderful cup of fresh coffee... and perhaps three or four freshly-baked Brownies. Dubble Yumm !
Nancy,
I find Karen's comment somewhat true. I thought to myself, beans and brownies? Nonetheless, it's good to see the promotion of books in the marketplace... g
Sounds like a wonderful event to support Out of the Woods, Nancy. Hope you get a fantastic turnout, and have lots of fun. Let us know what books you chose!
OK Vickie - head on up here!
I'm with you Karen Anne - brownies and coffee and books sound heavenly! So hopefully I am interpreting the "beans" part correctly!
Hi Gordon - yes I am excited to go get some books - at the pace I read, seems like I am always needing more :)
Thanks Lottie - OK - I will come back to comment both about whether the beans part is truly coffee (I suppose it could be chili, though that & brownies don't sound like such a good combo) - & also what books I found. Hopefully a bunch for me and maybe also some childrens' books for my granddaughter!
