If you love architecture and historical buildings as much as I do, you will love the Upton Sinclair House in Monrovia, California!

This amazing Spanish Colonial Revival style home was built in 1923 and is located in the lovely community of Monrovia, California.

Upton Sinclair a very famous American novelist owned this beautiful historical home from 1942 until 1966.

The Upton Sinclair House was designed by California architect Frederick H. Wallis.

Upton Sinclair converted part of the garage into a study so that he could write his novels.

That is such a beautiful home.  The time period of the mid 20's in Southern California gave us some of the most incredible houses.  I especially love the Mission Revival style.  If When I win the lottery, I'm gonna get me one!  :-)

Debbie:  I love the photos too.

Deborah:  The 20's and 30's are my favorite of all times.  If I had endless money I certainly would own and restore some of these historical homes.  I always say these homes have a heart and soul :)
