Donna, That place looks fabulous, I keep thinking how nice it would be to stay there with some good friends! I was so surprised to see it, I didn't know they had luxury log cabins---and it's beautiful.

Hi Carole: This would be a fun place for you and your friends. Ya'll should plan a trip. You should see some of the luxury cabins we have and ultra-luxury too, basically, log mansions. Gone are the days of the little, rustic four wall hunter's shack that was considered a cabin. The good thing about this one is a potential buyer can rent it out and see how they really like it before they decide to buy. Thank you for your comment.

Donna, Log MANSIONS? Wow, that sounds like so much fun! And it's not like I couldn't use a road trip....:) But this cabin looks so terrific, I wish I could get away right now. I want to go when it's till warm.

What a lovely home! You have done a GREAT job with the flier and photos. And you're doing a super ob of promoting your area to people around the country. It occurs to me that it might be a lovely place to retire.

Your Mountain charm is calling my name. You are tempting me because you know I live close enough to take advantage of a relaxing weekend in the Georgia Mountains. A log home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia is excellent for a vacation getaway! Rates are appealing. By the way, your pics are fantastic!

Hi TLW: Well, it varies but on average, in this market, this year - 120 days give or take a few. Higher end cabins may be taking a little longer but we are seeing a surge now that Fall is almost here. Fall is a great time for the mountains!

gret looking palce. has the rental market in your area slowed with the current market? Also has the buyer for vaction homes slowed?

Hi Brian: Many thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment. Rental market did slow last year but I do not handle rentals so I would have to refer you to one of the many cabin rental companies here. You can find a list on google. I would say everything has slowed some but we have been quite busy for February and March. That's normally a slow time in the mountains so it's very encouraging that two of our usual slow months have been very busy.

Great log cabin. What type of community / main activities are their in the summer and winter in the area. Speaking of luxury log cabins. I was in one today gorgeous gourmet kitchen stone accents but 1.35 mil on .33 ac, not much land for the money but boy was it nice.
