Walker Lake and Hawthorn are undiscovered jewels of NV.  I have driven by many, many, many times, and our Truckee High School sport teams use to play in the same league, so we would go often traveling with our 3 boys, over the years, to Hawthorn. Mountain range is awesome, often snow covered.... I also have great photos of this lake.  Thanks for sharing.

Great location there Bob.. If you can't afford to live around the diserable Lake Tahoe (which is mostly vacation rentals and timeshares or uber rich homes) then this place definately looks like a great substitute.

VB, that there sure is a mighty fine looking property. Is there any kind of restrictions as to the kind of home that can be built there. The only reason I ask, I sure do think a real nice looking log home, sure would look mighty fine there.
